New iPhone commercials feature FaceTime and AirPlay

Apple has aired two new iPhone commercials. The first features the capabilities of FaceTime on the iPhone. It shows users video chatting via FaceTime iPhone to iPhone, iPhone to MacBook Air, and iPhone to iPad.

The second iPhone commercial showcases the iPhone's AirPlay features. The commercial shows a user streaming music from an iPhone to their stereo, and pictures and video to their TV. The ads are part of Apple's "If you don't have an iPhone" series. Both commercials can be view below and are also available on Apple's YouTube channel.

I really don't like this "if you don't have an iPhone campaign" - I work in advertising and these just annoy the hell out of me. I know what their purpose is (to show people features that are exclusive to iOS and make them understand 'if you don't have this product you don't get this feature') but it just seems like these are bragging. At least they don't end with "so if you don't have an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone." anymore; like you are outside of some exclusive club of ****$. It makes me cringe to think this is the attitude Apple wants to portray as it makes fellow iPhone users look similarly condescending.

Those speakers pictured are the fantastic audioengine a5. I am just a very happy customer. I have those and the A8 sub and it is a amazing computer setup. But pricey.

Seriously. Not to mention, everything on the market so far has an iPod dock as well, and I don't need that. I just want speakers I can put in the back yard without worrying about running an Airport Express so music can play from the Apple TV and outside during get-togethers. I wonder how much cheaper they would be if that were the case.

Apple commercials are like their products, sophisticated.

These are great ads because they show what one can do with an iPhone. The AirPlay one is especially good and they need to market it even more!

I find it interesting that the facetime ad does not show iPhone to iPod Touch...

Aw c'mon, quit pickin' nits. As if anyone would notice the difference between an iPhone and an iPod Touch in a quick 30-sec spot. As it is, there's plenty of diffence (impressive) between the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
