Google updates its search page for the iPad

Google is rolling out an update to its google.com search page that'll make it even more tablet-friendly. Text, buttons and other page elements are now slightly bigger and easy to touch with those big, fat fingers. Like it or not, the page now shares that Google+ look as well. The improved interface is available for the iPad and Android 3.1 tablets across 36 different languages. It's a rolling update so if you don't see it at first, keep checking back.

No page cache link for search result now. Any method to get it?

No way I can tell. Very Apple-eque of Google to remove a useful feature with no option to get it back.

I was over at the Google offices the other day taking notes on my iPad and the Big Boss came running out of his office amazed at this flat little electronic clipboard I had. "What is this thing??" he kept saying, and I almost had to pry it from his fingers when I left.

And now look what they've done. Nobody can say Google snores for over 500 days any more.
