Adafruit Industries now selling the iNecklace

This is great -- the iNecklace is Adafruit's latest open-sourced, electronic jewelry. It's a pendant shaped like a power button, complete with a pulsing LED inside. It's beautiful, stylish, and a nicely subtle way to proclaim your loyalty to tech in a sleek and cool way. It's all open source, too, so you can go to GitHub and download all of the files and tech setup if you want to try and make your own.

For those of us not so DIY inclined, the iNecklace sells for $75 and will begin shipping in September.

Next phase, IMHO, is ambient wifi/bluetooth/4g jewelery...
Imagine a necklace/bracelet/ring that's ambient colors/pulses conveyed information about your partner/friend/family's moods/needs/etc. Or imagine a larger bracelet/amulet --say Tolkienesque style --that had more detailed ambient information. There was a product called the "Orb" years ago that didn't quite make it (your stock is doing well "green", danger "orange", etc.) that you could choose various info for. I guarantee this is coming, if its not already here.

I'm wondering how long till Apple orders a cease and desist? (Even the power button is patented and trademarked by Apple)

Nothing says "subtle" like a glowing, pulsing necklace!
