Some German customers receive iPhone 4S handsets early

Got my shipment notification at 630am (EST) from Verizon. Though when I try to track the package, no information is available yet :/ he's hoping it arrives a day early

so - how good is Siri's German?

I ordered two 64GB iPhones from Apple's German online store on the 7th, within the first 30 minutes after the store "reopened".

1) My card hasn't been charged yet.
2) The Apple store says: "Artikel werden bearbeitet Versandfertig in: Ships by October 14th"

Verizon just charged my card and sent me the email. I'm good to go for my iPhone 4S. I can't want to get it and finally too, get rid of AT&T and their many problems (including dropped calls in my house, data that doesn't load and massive amount of dropped calls in downtown Cincinnati, amung afew).

I ordered my iPhone 4S directly from Apple just a few minutes after the ordering started, and my order status (thru the Apple Store) says my phone is still preparing to be shipped, but has a "Delivers on the 14th" below that. I'm with AT&T and pretty much believe I'll get my phone late on the 14th ('cause I believe it's coming UPS and they usually show up pretty late), but I'm wondering if they are going to ship the thing next day air since it's still just waiting!

I'm furious! I ordered from the apple store amidst all the server chaos at around 1am on the 7th, and got my UPS notification like so many others yesterday. When I track it, it says it's scheduled for delivery on Monday the 17th! (I'm in California - Orange County, not some rural mountain city either!)

I would not have waited up all night to pre-order had I known I wouldn't get it until the end of day on Monday, I would have just camped out outside my local apple store on Friday and had it the same day!

That's my last apple pre-order, I'm going back to my tried and true method of going to the apple stores before dawn on opening day.

Still waiting for ours, hasn't even "prepared to ship yet", ordered direct from Apple (DE). This was Telekom (T-Mobile Germany) dropping the ball. Lucky!

Why do you keep saying only sprint iphone 4s have shipped? My AT&T phone shipped sunday night and is currently in kentucky on its way to NJ.

Lucky Germans, I ordered mine though Verizon and still no change of status. Still shows up as "We received your order and it is in process." and shipping on the 14th. I guess their waiting to get them from Shenzhen like everyone who ordered them directly from Apple.
