Long awaited iOS 5.1 will be online today

Tim Cook says iOS 5.1 will be available for Apple customers today in the US. It's expected there will be updates to PhotoStream, a new camera slider and hopefully an update that will fix the battery life issues that have plagued many users. Apple gave no details of this update during its live presentation today, other than to say it will be available.
iOS 5 was previewed on June 6, 2011 and touted new features such as iMessages between devices running iOS 5, a new notification system, Newsstand subscriptions, Twitter integration, Reminders, enhancements to AirPlay, full integration with iCloud and more than 200 other features.
