CBS launches iOS streaming TV app

US television network CBS has launched an app for the iPhone and iPad that offers streaming access to select programming.

CBS will add new episodes of daytime shows within 24 hours of their initial air time, and prime time episodes will appear after eight days. The network also noted that the app will also feature "second screen" features for a number of programs. It will stream content via 3G, 4G, LTE, and WiFi networks.

You can download the CBS app from the iOS App Store for free. Use of the app is limited to the United States and its territories.
