Menufela

Menufela is a little application from ninja kitten (who have the coolest name yet for an indie software developer). What does Menufela do? It hides the top menubar (and the Dock). Why? Because every pixel counts, or something.

It can also be used to hide the Spotlight icon (if you are attached to your menubar but can't stand that smug magnifying glass judging you all day).

Menufela costs $5 and it needs Application Enhancer installed to function, which might be a deal breaker for some.

Tip of the Day

To get an instant map to any address, just go to your Address Book and right click on the address field of any one of your contacts and select "Map Of." The address will then be revealed in Google Maps on Safari. You can do the same if a data detector determines there is an address in an e-mail in Mail.
