Lost iPhone: How to Locate Your Missing Apple Device

While I’m not the biggest enthusiast of the show “Lost“—my fascination waned after the first season—there are plenty who remain hooked. One observant TUAW reader, David, pointed out that the design of a “satellite phone” from a recent episode bears an uncanny resemblance to another popular device.

For those interested, a clearer image is available here. The interface, complete with its rounded square icons and even the classic Mac OS X “Home” button, suggests it’s an iPhone merged with a Newton.

It’s quite a sight, especially considering the similar way the device is held—though admittedly, there aren’t many variations on how to hold a phone.

It seems the characters on the show have access to an iPhone before it hit the mainstream. That island just keeps getting weirder.

Thanks to David for the tip!
