iPhone Now Available at Virgin Mobile Canada as Fifth Outlet

The iPhone will soon be available through another service provider in Canada. Virgin Mobile Canada has revealed plans to offer the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in the near future.

Details such as the exact launch date and pricing are still under wraps.

Curious about a Richard Branson-themed ringtone? While you can craft your own ringtones, specifics about the offerings remain sparse. The company’s brief announcement only confirmed that the devices would be sold online and in physical stores eventually. Additionally, the announcement highlighted accolades from J.D. Power and Associates for its mobile services.

The iPhone models are already available in Canada through Rogers Wireless, its affiliate Fido, Bell Canada, and Telus. According to a Canadian source, Virgin Mobile Canada is known for its budget-friendly phones and prepaid services, but MobileSyrup anticipates that Virgin’s pricing and contract terms will align with those of other Canadian iPhone carriers.
