Apple Increases Production of iPads, Analyst Reports

Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty recently shared insights with All Things D, indicating that Apple is increasing its iPad production efforts. The tech giant aims to reach a production target of three million units monthly by year’s end.

This ramp-up could potentially bring annual production figures to an impressive 36 million iPads, nearing the 40 million mark forecasted by supply chain analysts. According to projections, next year’s sales could fluctuate dramatically, with initial estimates at 10 million units, now skyrocketing to as much as 42 million iPads.

Huberty notes that Apple’s current production rate stands at two million iPads per month.

This increase in production has reduced shipping times and improved the overall availability of the device. However, further enhancements in the manufacturing process are necessary.
