White iPhone 4 Release Scheduled for April?

Following an extended period of anticipation, the release of the white iPhone 4 is imminent, as reported by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Concord Securities. Kuo informed AppleInsider that mass production of the device is set to start this month, with plans to begin distribution in early April.

The development of the white iPhone 4 faced significant setbacks in 2010 due to issues with the white paint.

Apple resolved these issues by collaborating with a Japanese company to innovate a new paint solution that improves the application’s thickness consistency.

Although predictions from analysts can be unreliable, Kuo’s insights about the white iPhone 4 appear credible. Apple had previously announced that the white iPhone 4 would finally be available in spring 2011, coinciding with the release of the white iPad 2s, which started shipping on a Friday.

According to Kuo, the April release date for the white iPhone 4 will initially only cover GSM models, which include AT&T in the United States.

There was no information available regarding the release timeline for the white CDMA (Verizon) iPhone 4 models.
