Verizon Slashes Prices on First-Generation iPads

Mirroring a recent move by AT&T, Verizon has significantly reduced the prices of the first-generation Wi-Fi iPad, as reported by MacRumors. Customers visiting Verizon outlets can now acquire the 16 GB Wi-Fi iPad for just $299, with the 32 GB model available for $399, and the 64 GB version for $499.

These reduced rates are available only while stocks last.

Previously, we highlighted that AT&T had dropped prices on its entire range of first-gen iPad 3G models. Presently, AT&T’s inventory is limited to the 64 GB iPad 3G, priced at just $529.

This is a mere $30 increase over the 64 GB Wi-Fi model offered by Verizon, suggesting that AT&T’s remaining stock will likely deplete quickly.
