UK Launches White iPhone, Netherlands Release Imminent

As Easter approaches, the much-anticipated white iPhone 4 has made an appearance, thanks to a scoop by Engadget. They’ve secured actual images of the device which was reportedly sold prematurely by a Vodafone UK store to an informant.

The device matches the original iPhone 4 except for a slight variation in the model number. Vodafone has since instructed its outlets to delay the sale until next week, although it appears one unit was sold ahead of schedule.

Further confirming the imminent release, 9to5Mac has uncovered a memo from Dutch retailer BelCompany.

Although the memo was quickly removed from their website, it indicated that the white iPhone would hit the shelves next week on April 27. This aligns with previous reports from various sources suggesting that the US launch was imminent.
