iOS and Mac App Store Services Resume After Downtime

Earlier today, users began experiencing difficulties when attempting to update popular applications such as GarageBand, iMovie for iOS, and the Twitter for Mac update in the Mac App Store. The issue seems to be widespread, affecting numerous users including our own team.

As of this morning, Thursday 6/2, it appeared that normal service had resumed, with updates proceeding as expected.

However, by approximately 2 p.m. ET, there were fresh reports indicating that the problem had resurfaced, with both stores experiencing outages once again.

Currently, there is no official explanation for the disruption.

It is hoped that these are merely temporary issues that will soon be resolved. Further updates will follow as we continue to monitor the situation.
