Flipboard for iPad Expands to Include TV Shows and Movies

According to a recent report by Reuters, the widely used iPad app for magazine curation, Flipboard, is considering an expansion to include television shows and films.

However, Flipboard’s CEO, Mike McCue, has indicated that this venture into video content will not commence until the end of the year, so users will need to wait a bit longer to stream video content on the platform.

McCue also mentioned his aspirations to integrate ebooks into Flipboard’s offerings, pending agreements with book publishers.

Additionally, iPhone and iPod touch users will be pleased to learn that Flipboard will be available on these devices soon, as reported by Reuters.

Flipboard has already been downloaded over three million times, highlighting the growing popularity of news aggregation applications.
