Apple iBookstore Shares Updates via Twitter

In a move to further engage with its audience, Apple has recently launched a new Twitter handle, @iBookstore, dedicated to providing updates and promotions from the U.S. iBookstore.

This new account joins the existing @AppStore, which has been active since January and has amassed a significant following. The @iBookstore account was activated this afternoon and has already gathered over 2000 followers with just three tweets.

Apple’s presence on Twitter doesn’t stop there.

The tech giant also manages several other accounts including @itunesfestival, @iTunesTrailers, @iTunesPodcasts, @iTunesTV, @iTunesMovies, and @iTunesMusic.
