Scholastic Launches Kids’ E-Reader App for iPad

As reported by PaidContent, Scholastic has made a significant move by introducing its vast array of children’s books on the iPad. The newly enhanced Storia app connects users to Scholastic’s ebook store, which features a collection of over 1,000 titles for children.

These books are categorized by age, reading level, grade, and popular characters or series.

Upon installing the Storia app, users are welcomed with five complimentary ebooks, allowing them to explore the app’s features at no initial cost. Should users find the app beneficial, they can create a Scholastic.com account to purchase additional books for their children to enjoy on the iPad.

The app not only offers a wide range of standard ebooks but also includes over 150 enhanced titles that come with interactive features and games. Additionally, the Storia app provides tools to monitor a child’s reading progress and manage personalized bookshelves for each child.

The Storia app can be downloaded at no cost from the iOS App Store, with book prices ranging from $0.99 to $9.99.
