St. Petersburg Unveils Giant iPhone Memorial for Steve Jobs

In St. Petersburg, Russia, a monumental tribute to Steve Jobs has been unveiled in the form of a massive iPhone replica.

Created by local artist Gleb Tarasov, this oversized version mimics a black, later model iPhone, as reported by RIA Novosti. While it lacks a functional touchscreen, the installation includes a screen that cycles through a slideshow and video tribute to Jobs’ life and legacy.

This artistic homage is situated in the courtyard of the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.
