Yahoo! Buys GhostBird Software, Removes Apps from App Store

Renowned for its innovative mobile applications such as KitCam camera app and PhotoForge, GhostBird Software has made a significant mark in the App Store since its inception in 2009. However, in a recent development late Wednesday, the company revealed that it would be shutting down operations and integrating with Yahoo!’s Flickr team.

The official GhostBird Software website has transitioned to a simple placeholder page, now only displaying the news of its acquisition.

Furthermore, the company has removed its applications from the App Store. Users who have previously downloaded the apps can continue to use them as is, and those who have made purchases can re-download the apps via iCloud.

No new downloads or updates will be available for these applications moving forward.
