Regional Airlines to Offer New iPad Air on Flights

In an exciting development for tablet enthusiasts, Apple’s LTE-enabled iPad will soon be available through smaller regional networks. Notably, C Spire Wireless and Bluegrass Cellular are set to offer the iPad Air in the upcoming weeks.

C Spire is a Mississippi-based provider servicing several Southern states including Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, while Bluegrass Cellular operates out of Kentucky.

While specific details on pricing and exact release dates are still under wraps, updates will be provided as they become available.

The iPad Air is scheduled to hit the shelves on November 1, with Apple’s own retail outlets opening an hour earlier to manage the anticipated crowds smoothly.

This launch will be Apple’s largest yet for an iPad, with availability in 42 countries starting on November 1.

Additionally, US Cellular and GCI, a carrier based in Alaska, are also set to offer the iPad Air. US Cellular will start sales on November 8, and GCI is expected to follow suit shortly after.
