Apple has introduced an increased number of AppleCare+ options for its customers in India. The company now offers Theft and Loss protection as a top-up option for the support and care package. The options are available with new monthly and annual plans – making it accessible for more people who would like to opt-in using an pay-as-you-go option.
“AppleCare gives our customers peace of mind knowing that their products are protected and supported by Apple experts,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing. “With today’s updates in India, we’re making it easier and more affordable to get trusted protection, including access to our most complete coverage for iPhone.”
The new plans add coverage for upto two incidents of theft or less per year. The new additions are a top-up to what is already available to customers. In addition to providing assurance in case their iPhone is lost or stolen, customers can continue to benefit from the standard services which include battery replacement, 24/7 priority support, and accidental damage (unlimited repairs within the Apple Care+ plan period).
By opting-in for AppleCare+, iPhone users in India not only opt for no-nonsense support and service but also avail assurance that their devices will be repaired using genuine parts. The process is usually hassle-free as Apple already has all your details and the turn-around-times shorter, with the option to receive a temporary phone when your primary phone has gone for repair.
All iPhone, iPad, and Mac customers can opt for their most suitable AppleCare+ plan from the Settings app. The flexible monthly and annual plans with the addition of added protection make the coverage a more practical purchase for many Apple customers in the Indian region.
