Apple has announced plans to open its first Apple Developer Center in Europe. The new facility will be located in Berlin, Germany, and is expected to welcome developers later in 2026. The move marks an important expansion of Apple’s global developer support network.
The center will open in Berlin’s Mitte district, an area known for its strong startup and technology community. By choosing this location, Apple aims to connect with developers and entrepreneurs from across Europe.
New Opportunities for Developers
The Berlin center will provide developers with direct access to Apple experts. In addition, visitors will be able to attend workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one consultations. These programs will cover Apple’s major platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.
Apple says the facility will include consultation spaces and dedicated laboratories where developers can receive hands-on assistance. Furthermore, support will be available in multiple languages, making the center accessible to a wider European audience.
Regular events will also help developers improve their skills, learn new technologies, and build stronger applications for Apple devices.
Strengthening Europe’s Developer Community
Apple believes Europe already has a thriving community of app creators. Susan Prescott, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, praised European developers for building apps that encourage creativity, innovation, and meaningful connections.
According to Prescott, Apple created the center to ensure developers have the tools and resources needed to do their best work. The company hopes the facility will inspire new ideas and support future innovation across the region.
Part of a Growing Global Network
The Berlin location will become Apple’s first Developer Center in Europe. Other Developer Centers currently operate in Bengaluru, Cupertino, Shanghai, and Singapore.
Apple also supports developers through 19 Developer Academies worldwide, along with Foundation Programs in Italy and France. With the addition of the Berlin center, Apple continues to invest in education and technical support for developers around the world. As the facility prepares to open, European developers will soon gain a new hub for learning, collaboration, and innovation.
