Specere, the people who brought you Menuet, comes Art Collector. What's Art Collector? An app that downloads album art from Amazon for your tunes in iTunes. Sure, there are other apps that do this, but the UI on this one is a cut above the rest. Plus, for you Menuet users, it is fully integrated with Menuet.

I'm sorry to say Amazon won't deliver minimum qualities. Covers should be 600x600 to look good in Front Row. Even 400x400 will do, but not Amazon's tiny ones.
Not worth spending my money on such app.

I've bought Menuet, but this app is absolutely crappy. HD images? Oh please, don't say that.
The WIDGET Amazon Album Art does exactly the same for FREE!!! At least try it.

I see that Amazon has 500 x 500. Doesn't the app download the larger artwork that is available or am I missing something?

Typically I try and get 300x300. It shows up decently in FrontRow. To get 600+ its time to break out the scanner.
Has anyone noticed... Amazon is now adding a white border to a lot of images? ie. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000003TA4.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

The search methodology for this app is weak and the returns are typically inaccurate or very limited in scope.
Here's an idea for these apps, do more public beta's or charge for versions > than 1.0. With so many choices, this software brings nothing new to the table and if anything, seems a bit weaker than others I have used.

Yeah, nuts to the iTMS for taking away our ability to have nice art for our albums!! My new albums look like junk! Anyone got any leads on how to get 600+ pixel album art?
