BurnAgain - multiple sessions, one volume

BurnAgain is quite possibly the smartest CDR/CDRW burning utility I've seen for Mac OS X. While it unfortunately lacks support for burning DVDs, just look at this rocking list of features:
  • burn multiple sessions represented by only one volume
  • 'smart' burning - checks for changes when burning same file more than once
  • title of CDR can be changed with each burn
  • option to hide files from previous CDR sessions to make it look like one clean, new burn
  • can resolve aliases
  • can erase CDRWs
  • supports Mac OS X Tiger's Burnable Folders
  • preserves Mac-specific file attributes while still using platform-independent, multiple-OS-friendly ISO format
Since I know your CD drives are already revving, why not go and grab yourself a demo already? A license costs $25, with Family, Student and EDU site license options available.

I agree with #2 and #3. As soon as it starts supporting spanning discs and DVDs - it's an instant "must-buy".

As far as I can see, it doesn't span disks either. Spanning is one of the most important features needed -- why this has yet to be implemented into Toast is beyond me. The only app I know of that can span disks is Backup. And that's free.

But it doesn't burn DVD's so an automatic "no use" from me

Would these 're-writable' cd-r's also be readable (and possibly writable?) on a Windows/Linux PC?
