Flickr Find: Two tone MacBook

Flickr user sreindl.net had some trouble with their MacBook's keyboard, and needed a loaner (I don't know why). The local Apple store happened to have a white keyboard for their black MacBook and the Two Tone MacBook was born (or the Al Capone Special Edition)!
I think a black keyboard on a white MacBook would be pretty sweet myself.
Thanks, Stefan.

I'd say that it's three-tone (the keyboard and "faceplate" isn't the same color :)
Nothenless, it's sweet :)

If you look like the flickr pics, if can see the keyboard, but look at the enter key, its different? isn't it, or am I just going crazy?

I'm thinking how cool it would be if the base was black but the keys-and only the keys-would be white. It would look like a piano.

I just noticed... this duotone MacBook pretty much clears up the cosmetic issues with the all-black and all-white MacBooks. You don't have to deal with the scratches on the glossy white MacBook casing, and you don't have to deal with the greasiness of the black MacBook keyboard. It's the best of both worlds.
Genius.

@Dan
Yes, the Enter key indeed looks different - simply because it is the German keyboard layout ;)

It would be nice if you didn't have a two or three toned webpage. That ad seriously needs to go! It blinks and makes the entire webpage change colors.

@6.
Look at all of the keys. They all have different labels (note the small subscript on each). This is especially clear with a high-res version. My guess it's a keyboard for a different region.

This checkerboard pattern keyboard is rather more cool:

#10, I agree with you 100%. I HATE that damn ad.
It is so annoying I can't even remember what it is for... That is not very good advertising. It makes me want to avoid TUAW.

The colors, just the colors! ok... remind me of my Mother Vaio, that's was I thought it was initially...but ehh...really the only thing I like in 2-tone is my 240SX :p

@Brendan
MediaCentral (www.equinux.com/mediacentral) is playing the SomaFM stream on the MacBook.
