Mac Pro: the best Windows workstation available
If I weren't completely bedeviled with Apple's portables (I use both a MacBook and a MacBook Pro) I would a Mac Pro user. Richard Hoffman, writing for InformationWeek, has had his hands on a Mac Pro for 2 weeks and has one word to describe it: 'Wow.'That's good.
He goes on to say that this machine is the best Windows workstation available, whether you are using Parallels or Boot Camp.
So, Mac Pro owners out there, are you happy with your Mac Pro?

Dont count on the replacement rather they will have you return it and they will switch the LCD Panel for you.
I had a horrible experience with my 23" display which you can read about here

I would have a Mac Pro had i been an educated buyer. I switched from PC to Mac without knowing anything about the Mac except that they were based on Darwin and were MUCH more stable than windows. I bought a Quad G5 PPC with 4gb ram, upgraded video card, wifi and bluetooth. 2 months later the Mac Pro was unveiled. Talk about a kick in the butt.
I wish Apple would see this and offer an upgrade program for people who buy the machines as they are secretly holding back the release dates. That's my only qualm with my Mac. I wish it was the intel based so that I could run windows. I would upgrade but it will cost me like another 1000 to do so and i would drop quite a bit in specs.
I love my Mac Pro as well except for the fact the main drive died over the weekend and lost a ton of stuff. Sure I have 2 backup drives but still... the computer is less than month old and drive failed. Western Digital's fault, so I'm replacing it with a Seagate Enterprise 750gb drive and using the replacement drive Apple sent me as a 3rd (dedicated) backup drive. I still love it though. And my 30" monitor even though it's got a few dead pixels happening (Dead center of screen) which I'm hoping they'll offer me a replacement since I have the Apple Protection on it as well.
All in all, sweet machine.

My Mac Pro ist the *best* computer I have ever owned. And it's right: Even windows with bootcamp runs smooth and fast. It's a great thing. Anyone who wants to buy a computer, go out and get this thing!
Cheers

My Mac Pro rocks, its fast, reliable, runs all my software (Final Cut, Yojimbo, iPhoto, etc) brilliantly, and event allows me to work in windows on Parallels. Perfect!

It also fits nicely with my 30" ACD :-D
I would advise all these people who dream of Mac Pros, large monitors, etc. to think about what they really need. 30" monitors are awful for gaming full screen, you need a powerful gfx card to run full res with high settings, and it tends to make me feel a lil sick cos there is too much going on in your peripheral vision. Mac Pros have little advantage over a Intel iMac unless you are actually going to take advantage of its capabilities, such as doing video editing. However I guess it is still nice to have a dream to work towards :-)

Windows: the worst OS to run on a Mac Pro
I've been super happy with my Mac Pro as well. I got the 2.66Ghz and cheaped out on the video card and went with the 7300GT. I figure I'll buy an X1900 or something else when they come down in price later. My next purchase will be a 3rd (and maybe 4th) 500GB hard drive, then I really need more memory...I'm scraping along at 2GB trying to edit HDV right now :(
Oh yeah, I've had zero problems with my MacBook too!
As a mac admin at a site with a large computer budget, I've had the pleasure of setting up some sweet Mac Pro systems. There's nothing quite like a 3Ghz Mac Pro with 8Gb RAM and dual 30" displays. I didn't want that one to leave my desk, let me tell you.

It's well built, fast, and fun; and so far at least, it has been very reliable.
The Mac Pro is very easy to upgrade. I installed an extra hard drive and additional RAM as soon as I bought the machine. It took me about 2 minutes to install both.
I use Mac OS X and also run Windows in Parallels Desktop and via Boot Camp.
I don't have problems with BlueTooth reception, but I have noticed that the mouse and keyboard take a while (10-20 seconds) to be recognized when booting into Windows.
I posted unboxing pictures to my blog if anyone's interested.
