MorphX: Morph with Your Mac
This YouTube video is just an example of what you can do with MorphX from Martin Wennerberg. This relatively simple program will let you render out short videos that "morph" or transform from one image to another. It allows you to control the calculations by defining control lines on each of the pictures which you want to match between the initial and the final images. Definitely worth a few minutes of amusement as you morph your relatives into each other.
MorphX is Universal and is a free download from Norkross Software.

Cool, I once found this app and it looked like it only worked on Nextstep, so I helped the author a bit.. I didn't know he continued working on it afterwards.
It has always been a fun app to play with, so it's nice to see it's still alive!

why are people still working on software like this with no visible improvement since the early 90's. Seriously, I was turning Ross Perot into a Ferengi 20 years ago and it looked just the same.

I used this program to morph photos of my wife during her pregnancy, so I could watch her belly grow in an animated fashion:

My example from a short blurb I published almost two years ago was better than the one attached to this article as well:

Wow, morphing. It's like I've been transported to the near future... of 1990. Seriously, my watch may be a bit fast, but I have 2007. That's right, right?

I love the end of the first paragraph on the MorphX page. " Version 2.7.1 runs on Mac OS X version 10.2 and later whereas 2.9.2 needs Mac OS X 10.4. Windows users can check out the google ads at the top of this page."
