I am not TUAW's resident baseball fan, but since it is peanuts and crackerjack season I thought it only appropriate to feature the MLB Schedule widget. This widget gives you an at a glance look at your favorite team's schedule with a 5 day period. If the game has already played it shows you the score, otherwise you get the start time, the opponent, the location, and who is pitching.
MLB Schedule is a free download (and remember if you like to follow more than one ball club you can run multiple versions of the widget).

This is the best Widget ever, as it's convenient and doesn't tell me the Cubs' overall win-loss record. I don't know about your favorite team, but not knowing the record with the Cubs is always a good thing, because seeing a losing record just says, "Yep, it's gonna be a hundred years next year."

Well, the only reason I put Boston up there and not my favorite team, the Giants, was because at the time of taking that picture, the Giants had lost two in a row. So, I went with Boston, since I hate the Yankees. But, don't worry, when the Giants don't have an off day and don't lose two in a row, it'll change.
