WWDC 08 session videos available
In case you missed WWDC 08 because of a project deadline, the impending birth of your first child, or you just couldn't make it, Apple Developer Connection now has the conference sessions available on video. The videos aren't cheap -- each track (iPhone, Mac, or IT) costs $499, or you can get all of the sessions for the entire conference for "just" $999. The latter collection of geek video features 146 presentations from the conference, perfect for those mid-winter coding marathons.
Apple is getting rid of physical media, so you purchase the videos, activate them, and then log into ADC through iTunes to download the videos and presentation slides. You need to be either a free ADC member or registered iPhone developer to activate the videos.
If you did attend WWDC 08, you are entitled to access the videos for free and should have received an email from Apple with instructions. If you've lost that email or never received it, contact ADC for details.

makes you wonder with all the money Apple is making and its billions banked why they can't just provide developer documentation for free (albeit late compared to when WWDC08 was), but since its so late it really should be free or at least only the cost of the distribution/bandwidth.

Another reason not to renove the pais ADC subscription this year. Last year, the WWDC 07 videos were a free download included with the Select membership.
So, 500 euros a year for a seed of the OS (that can be easily downloaded from everywhere), and a monthly DVD that you have to download yourself? Oh, yes, and the hardware discount (20%, in just one computer).
This was, for sure, the last year I have been an ADC paid member

I am a long time Mac user. I am also an Apple administrator who would love to have access to these videos, but I am not going to spend $499 on them. Not in my short legged life! These should be free.
I also administer a Windows network, and you all will know that a simple trip to Technet produces links in abundance to training videos, conference videos, virtual labs and the like. Free.
Come on Apple- this is pathetic!

I'd just like to see the WWDC Keynote up on iTunes before the website, subscribe to it like a podcast and have it waiting for me when I log-in. I can't believe they don't do this. If you go to the website all the surprises are spoilt, I have to fast from my feeds a week before any Apple event and waiting for the ever late AppleInsider spoiler free email is real torture.
