Apple India amassed a record $9 billion in revenue during the 2024-25 fiscal year. The major contributor for the increased revenue was the iPhone which continues to see increased demand in the Indian region. The “Pro” models also saw an increase in demand – in a region where the low-end models sell the most.

India continues to be the fastest growing economy and it shows; the iPhone sales continue to skyrocket while also Mac sales see steady growth. Further, the Indian region is not only a consumer market for Apple but also a major production hub. Over the years, starting from roughly 2016, Apple has steadily increased its production capacity in India which now commands 12% of the global iPhone production.

The demand for iPhone and Mac-supporting accessories such as AirPods and Apple Watch also continue to see growth while albeit being smaller compared to the iPhone. iPad sales saw a 5.5% increase annually in the third quarter of 2025. However, netizens continue to question the existence of the iPad which appears to be a shiny product on the shelf but of very less actual purpose.

While Apple has recorded a massive $9 billion in revenue – it still only accounts for 2% of the $416.1 billion global revenue. The iPhone maker continues to be seen as a growth market, especially in years when sales fall in the Chinese market. The US market continues to be “mostly” bullish of Apple and is somewhat true of the European market. As the company has already established itself heavily in the western markets, it looks forward to scaling its sales network and operations in India.

Over the past one year, Apple has opened several stores in various cities across India. The physical presence of stores, service centers and having the official online store in 2021, it only boosts customer confidence in investing in an Apple product.
