Apple TV is expanding its Peanuts collection with a major slate of new and returning content, strengthening its position as the modern home of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the beloved comic gang.

The streaming platform announced a packed lineup that includes a returning original series, a fresh special, classic library additions, and a brand-new feature-length Snoopy movie. The move reflects Apple’s growing commitment to family-friendly franchise entertainment.

Camp Snoopy Returns This Summer

The first major release is the second season of Camp Snoopy, arriving on June 26. The animated series follows Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts during adventures at Camp Spring Lake.

Soon after, Apple will launch Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy on July 31. The new special follows Snoopy as he tries to recover his doghouse after it is accidentally sold.

These releases show Apple continuing to invest in fresh Peanuts storytelling instead of relying only on nostalgia.

Classic Peanuts Series Join the Platform

Apple is also adding older fan favourites to expand its catalogue. This Is America, Charlie Brown, originally released in 1988, will make its streaming debut on Apple TV alongside The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, the classic animated series that aired during the 1980s.

That gives longtime fans more reasons to revisit familiar stories while introducing younger viewers to classic Peanuts adventures.

The growing archive also helps Apple compete in a crowded streaming market where recognizable franchises often drive subscriptions.

A New Snoopy Movie Is on the Way

Perhaps the biggest surprise is Snoopy Unleashed, a new feature-length film currently in development. The story follows Snoopy after he runs away from home, prompting Charlie Brown and friends to search for him in a large city.

Feature-length content marks a bigger step in Apple’s Peanuts strategy, suggesting ambitions beyond episodic television.

Why Peanuts Matters to Apple

Apple’s partnership with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide, and Lee Mendelson Film Productions now runs through 2030. That long-term agreement gives Apple one of its strongest family-focused entertainment brands.

Unlike riskier franchises, Peanuts aligns naturally with Apple’s clean, family-friendly image. As streaming competition grows fiercer, familiar characters like Snoopy may become one of Apple TV’s most valuable long-term assets.
