Apple could significantly increase the iPhone 18’s memory to support its next generation of artificial intelligence features. A new industry report suggests the standard iPhone 18 may arrive with 12GB of RAM, marking a 50% increase over the rumored 8GB found in the iPhone 17.

The report also indicates that Apple plans to release the standard iPhone 18 in spring 2027, following the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro later in the usual fall release window.
