Apple Arcade is expanding its game catalog in October with five additions covering cozy simulation, action, adventure, sports and puzzles. The lineup includes Pusheen’s Place, River City Survivors and Terraria+ as its biggest attractions.

The update gives subscribers several different ways to play. Moreover, it combines new experiences with enhanced versions of established mobile games.

Pusheen Gets Her First Official Game

Pusheen’s Place marks the popular gray tabby cat’s first officially licensed game. The Apple Arcade exclusive lets players create and decorate their own Pusheen-themed world.

Players can collect more than 100 cats, including Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen. In addition, the game features mini-games such as Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match.

Meanwhile, action fans can turn to River City Survivors. Arriving October 1, the game challenges players to battle repeated waves of zombies. They can collect random upgrades and use special attacks to survive. The roster includes 20 playable characters, including River City favorites Kunio and Riki.

Terraria+ Brings a Huge Sandbox Adventure

Terraria+ adds another major title to the service. The 2D sandbox adventure focuses on exploration, crafting, construction and combat across procedurally generated worlds. Players gather resources, build bases and fight tougher enemies as they improve their equipment.

Notably, this edition includes the Bigger & Boulder 1.4.5 update. It features a Dead Cells crossover and Pals from Palworld. Furthermore, multiplayer supports up to eight players through Game Center or local Wi-Fi.

Two More Games Complete the Lineup

Apple Arcade will also add Touchgrind BMX 2+. The physics-based stunt game uses a two-finger control system for performing BMX tricks.

Meanwhile, 4 Pics 1 Word+ brings the familiar word puzzle to the subscription service. Players must find the single word connecting four different images.

Together, the five additions give Apple Arcade a varied October update, ranging from relaxing cat-themed customization to zombie battles and expansive sandbox exploration.
