iTunes Podcast Support: A Closer Look

Hi, I bought an ipod 60 gb video display. But since I formtated my lap top twice, my ipod doesnt work, is there anything I can do?? thnks

Hey, John B. Thanks,man,for the tip on downloading Franken's podcasts. Seems to be working.

If you want Al Franken's podcast to work, just open iTunes, click on Advanced, the Subscribe To Podcast..., and paste http://www.sundancechannel.com/al/podcast.php into the URL text box then click OK. That worked for me. By the way, I found the URL on the website which I found from clicking Website on his page in the iTMS. Enjoy!

Since this is the summer of the remake (Bewitched, King Kong, etc etc), I'm going to remake Wayne's World.

My Al Franken Show podcast showed no episodes in the iTMS listing, but I subscribed to it, and they all show up and work in my Podcast window however. Sounds buggy for sure, though it will probably start working if you remove and add it again. As for July 7th, I think it's the iPod phone. You can use the new podcast option for video blogs. any RSS feed with enclosures that uses video (im thinking only quicktime) can be played in itunes now. Just find a video blog that uses quicktime. Subscribe to it as a podcast using the advanced menu. then click get and you can watch the videos in the small little window or full screen. Not sure if you knew but now you do.

The reason that doesn't work is because Air America's feeds have torrents as the enclosures. AFAIK only a select few pod cast programs suport torrent enclosures (to the extent that the actual file will get downloaded, most will download the torrent just fine and stop there). This has been a gripe of mine for some time. Besides, what are you doing listening to Al Franken, Springer on the radio and Randi Rhodes are much better.
