iTMS ... er, lost my copy of Lost

lost in itmsWell, that's what I get for trying out a brand new feature of the iTMS a few paltry hours after the announcement. I clicked on Lost, deciding to spend $1.99 to download last week's episode, just so I could see how this new goodness works in the iTMS. It took about 32 minutes to download and at the very last minute, when I thought it was going to announce that it was complete, I got the following error:

error downloading

And then iTunes crashed. The file is nowhere in my Library and now whenever I try to Check for Purchased Music... underneath the Advanced menu in iTunes, I get a "iTMS temporarily unavailable." Grr...
Update: I got it finally. Cool...

I purchased Lost: Season 1 on Friday. I got 2 errors downloading the entire season. When it was done, i found out that it didn't download one of the episodes. Has anyone had this problem? I finally got a response back from Apple ITMS support. However, they must be retards because they sent me instructions on how to download iTunes.

PaulH We have no video content in the UK except some Pixar shorts. I hope that you will soon be able to purchase TV Shows from the UK iTunes Music Store as I would like to be able to do that. You can currently purchase Pixar movies, which makes me think that Apple have not yet managed to sort any licences for UK content or US content in the UK. I suspect you are aware that iTrip is illegal for use in the UK... as the authorities believe that with an iTrip you are running your own pirate radio station!

Scrap that comment. I actually thought that clicking the video tab allowed me to see what video I could buy. But you acces this through the music store. Oh well. I won't be buying video anyhoo. No new iPod for me. You can't really watch video whilst driving unlike listening to your music through iTrip. Not for me.

So in the UK we have no Video content at all. Or is this just me. I have iTunes 6, QT 7.03 all up to date. I click Video tab in iTunes and No content at all. Is this just my machine if so how do I fix this? Secondly, does anyone know what shows the UK will get to download. Seen as though we're halfway through season one of Lost, I doubt we'll get that. Would be nice to start downloading some new episodes, but I guess Channel 4 in the UK won't be too happy with that. Better find some torrent

I wonder why the iTunes store doesn't offer "Alias." I'm hoping they will add it soon. It's the only ABC/Disney (and non-cable) program I'd pay to watch should I miss it rather than wait for the rebroadcast.

What I'd love to be able to do is download like, 4 episodes of Lost at a time, burn em, and play them on my TV. Any idea if apple is putting any blocks on me being able to do this?

If your video's are grey, you need to download Quicktime 7.0.3 I had this problem, and that fixed it completely.

Vid quality's not bad. They're 320x240 in size, but can be sized up to double-size or full-screen and still retain their watchability... They do get fuzzy when you enlarge em, but heck... I think it's a small price to pay to get to watch one of my favorite tv shows when I want. Now if SciFi would hop on board with iTMS and put Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis episodes online... I'd be one happy geek.
