Two new Apple Stores on the Jersey shore?
According to this article at AppleInsider, Apple may be a part of the major retail renovations that are planned for Atlantic City's Pier at Caesars. The four-story retail hub is scheduled to open next year and feature a variety of high end stores, like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and others. AppleInsider notes that job postings for the development include Apple retail positions, though their lease has not yet been finalized. Also, Freehold, New Jersey (home of Bruce Springsteen) may receive an Apple Store at the Freehold Raceway Mall next spring. Good luck, Jersey shore! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

jimmie: Having spent my youth in neighboring Scranton, Pennsylvania, I spent plenty of time in Atlantic City and Wildwood when I was a kid. I've got nothing but fondness for Jersey.

YaY! An Apple store in Freehold. I live in Belmar so maybe an half an hour drive. I recently bought the updated Powerbook so maybe I can just go there for support instead of sending my PB to Apple.

Finally, a local Apple Store! No more long drive up to the wilds of North Jersey to get to one. :)
