Reader Reports: MacBook Pros shipping

I ordered 1/11 and like everyone else I had my ship date changed from 2/15 to 2/28. Weirdest thing, did any one else have their order messed around with? They tried charging me for 2? Oh well as long as it's fixed, I want my Macbook already.....

I ordered at 11am sharp on Jan 10, and I -still- don't have a shipping notice. I want my MacBook this week, gorram it!

nevermind the apple picture thing. just go to their website. although the store hasn't updated for that shipping fact

I ordered 1.8(2.0)/7200 RPM HD on Jan 10. and I got shipment and payment notification yesterday, Feb 19 at 8:11 AM. I just looked at the FedEx shipping information and it is being shipped from Shanghai, China and apple delivered the units past the FedEx deadilne, at 1AM so it is actually shipping starting today. (Feb 20).

To the person that asked if the macbook is in stores:

I just called the store in oakbrook, IL, and they said they expect them to arrive sometime this upcoming week. I was planning on getting the 1.83 and upgrading a few things- but I think I may just get the standard 2.0 out of the box in the store so I don't have to wait 2 months to get mine. thank you apple education discount =D

So frustrating. I ordered on Jan 10 at 10:58 AM, and I'm still getting the Feb 28 shipping date...so frustrating!

It shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got an email from Apple at 2pm GMT saying delivery is expected "....on or before 24.02.2006"

Now I need to book a days holiday for this coming Friday!

As of midnight on 02.19.2006 Pacific time, my Apple store order status still says shipping on 02.28. But I just got an e-mail from Apple saying that my credit card has been charged by Fed Ex for the $15.00 expedited shipping charge. There was no tracking number listed in the e-mail. But there seems to be some activity on the Fed Ex side. Has anyone else out there (preferably those who have had word that their Macbooks are on the way) had similar e-mails prior to the ship date?
