First MacBook Pro unpacking pics

Here is a Flickr set of some pictures of a Macbook Pro being unpacked making the rounds today. The MacBook Pro has a label on it that says 'Apple Development Team,' so the theory is that the pics were snapped somewhere on Apple's campus. I have no idea if that is true, but look at that slim box!
Thanks to all who sent this in.

I use a Dell WinXP in office but a Mac Mini at home. About twice a day, I have to restart the Win box as either MatLab or LABVIEW hangs (hey I am engineer and LABVIEW is only available on WinXP).
My mac mini has been switched on for the past one year. I have only restarted it when a software upload requires it. MatLab is available for Mac so I use it at home too and never hangs at home. Now, you go figure out yourself if you like to spend your life restarting computers or spend a bit extra and get something that never hangs!!!
is it just me or does that iPod in those pics look kinda funky?

Lightroom Beta 2 is out in universal, and for photographers, that will be very useful, just use that and export what you need into Photoshop.
And the next installment of photoshop will most likely be due in jan 2007, not 2008.
I really don"t care about windows (I could be very offensive if I was sincere)
I care about a good UNIX and NICE and EASY desktop interface unix with Many ,so many, good SOFTWARES.
I don't care about photoshop
I care about _unix_ about Xcode, about objective C, about Motion, About Final cut, and so on.
and yeah, about linux ? I can use also many free software and opensource ones on os X. but still have the luxury and quality of the apple hardware without worries of incomplete linux support or waiting support of apple's specifics hardware by gnome or kde linux interface.
so, yeah, I really don't think ONE tiny second in "windows" of ugly dell. I just care about the good os x unix, the good apple hardware and all software I USE TO WORK AND GAIN MONEY and it's NOT photoshop !
I swear this is orgasmic lol...in a nerdy ubergeek way!)

so if what you're recommending is for someone to spend 2k on a powerbook (or windows machine) rather than a macbook: you must be out of your mind. in 6 months the universal binaries released by adobe will "crush" past models by leaps and bounds.
and are you actually insinuating that windows is a better operating system than os x? what the heck
It's interesting to me to see a flame war emerge about whether anybody should buy an intel Mac. Everybody's talking like it's foolish to buy now or foolish to wait.
The reality is that it makes total sense for some people that don't rely heavily on Adobe for daily work, and it's insane for other people to expect the intel machines to change their lives, when the majority of their work runs in Rosetta.
That's not what this article was about, but no one camp is right, and it'd be nice if everyone would stop speaking like one opinion is more valid than the other.
I'm just here for the unpacking porn, and hooo boy, that is driving me crazy. I can't even order the dang thing yet through the Apple Employee store and it haunts my dreams.
In response to Alexander's comment-yes, the MacBook will be faster than the G4 when the new versions are release...and that will be in what 2007 or 8? And that's from Adobe. By then, the next laptop I buy will be a lot faster, bug free and more practical than the scrape on your lap. Cheers.
