US Online Apple Store is down

As of 8:00 AM ET, the online Apple Store (US) is down. The usual sticky note graphic and "...we'll be back within the hour" text have replaced the index page. We'll keep you posted.

The whole morning the Apple store here lacks images & styling. Looks like something that misses the CSS and is an image-less print version.

Yes, 17". Still no 12" MBP?

PS: I don't understand the whole "store not available" procedure either to add one or more products to their online catalog. It doesn't make sense. ... Imagine if every online retailer had to do that.
