Rig of the Day: Many Macs

Check out this well-appointed desk. Flickr user dsiercks shows off a pair of Powerbooks, two iMacs (one with iSight, one without), one Powermac G5 (with an iSight of its own) and twin displays. We'd say you can get some work done with that set up.

If you'd like to see your own rig featured here, simply upload photos into our group Flickr pool. We'll select an image every day to highlight.

I love the rig of the day section. I check everyday just to see it.

Furthermore, don't we all just skip the posts that don't interest us? Hell, I skip entire weeks of reads. Because I have just 3 macs, and yes, I blow a lot of time.
Etc.
That's a lot of porn right there... But it looks like he could use a KVM or two.

May 02 2006 at 2:53 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhat is this guys job and where do I sign up? What on earth requires so many computers for one man. But wow, great set up...
May 02 2006 at 12:44 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySomeone needs to introduce this guy to Synergy...
I do like how the G5 has its disk drive exposed below the twin monitors though.
3rd for an MBP! :-)
You can tell because it has the large light strip between the keyboard and the screen - that is the APX antenna
I don't know what #2 is talking about. Looking at other people's rigs has to be one of my fav. parts of being a Mac fan. It's always cool to see what other people do with their Mac stuff.

I would get seriously distracted multitasking with so many systems ;)
