Mac OS X oil paintings

I like art as much as the next guy, but I especially like art that features elements of OS X. That's exactly what artist Gautam Rao has been painting, and he has posted a few to his blog (and they are for sale).

Hm, didn't Samsung get burned for allegedly stealing icons for OSX and elsewhere? It would be 'fun' to see an an enthusiastic artist sued for copyright infringement ... he's selling these no?

Cool... I like the Freshness of Iconography and the fact these paintings relate to something very Real yet Fleeting. Apple icons tend to evolve so these paintings may look dated one day, Today they look great and they preserve History!
