Kittens like Front Row
really expensive cat toy was sent in by Brenden, and it is cute and scary all at the same time (I wouldn't like a kitten do that to my new MacBook Pro, but then again I'm a stick in the mud).
Before anyone chimes in, I would like to point out two things:
- This video is really cute. I mean, a kitten and a MacBook Pro?
- Yes, it is a slow news day.

That's really fun and cute, but the kitten better not have nails cause he could take a swipe across the screen very easily. And the hinge is getting quite a bashing too. (and no I wasn't the guy who made the video)

Oh, I cringe every time his paws hit the screen

Let's count the things that COULD happen to this MacBook Pro:
1) Broken hinge
2) Broken keys
3) Scratched screen
4) Cat hair inside the case
5) The 'Book is on a rug which could lead to over-heating.
Things that WOULD happen to the kitten were he mine.
1) Placed in a burlap sack and thrown into the pond.

I had a terrible Apple Store experience today... I attempted to take my well-behaved kitten in after it convinced me to buy a new MacBook Pro instead of a scratch post, and when I put the litter box on a stool next to the counter, the staff started giving me trouble! What the hell is that, as you can see the MacBook Pro is an excellent learning tool for kittens!

what we didnt see after this video was the kitten dying from the MBP overheating ;)

If you have ever seen the video for "cat video" by blue man group (It's on the DVD-Audio for their album "Audio") you will see similar cat behavior.

See, what would have also been cool is to record the kitten from the built-in iSight. I see fuzziness...yellowish...is that a camera filming?....OMG ATTACK OF THE KITTEN!...

That is painful to watch - how can anyone do that to an MPB? The kitten seemed to be enjoying itself though!

HAHAHA that is funny.. kittens are super curious, mine used to get excited when I would be switching between windows or web pages and loved to just sit on the laptop since it was warm, but I would stop her before she could scratch the screen. Now she wouldn't even look at the computer its so boring to her. It is a little bold to be doing this with a new computer tho..

Gee, most of you guys are no fun! Like a four pound kitten is going to ruin a MacBook.
LOL @ Tucker. I think that story is about as fabricated as yours.
Btw, my cat likes it when I play MIDIs, bird songs, and dogs barking over my computer (OK, he stresses out over the dogs, but I think it's funny.). And yes, he will attack my screen if I'm playing a game or if I buzz the pointer around for him.

Obviously the person didn't buy the MacBook with their own money.
