39.8 Mb for my 15" PB 1.67ghz (June 2005). I've installed all other updates up to this.

64.9 megs for my core solo mini, which until this one, was fully updated. Still not a peep about the random occurrence of my proc table filling up and requiring a reboot before i can open any files/apps.

133MB for my MacBook 2.0. Kind of surprised at the size, but it does appear to be a substantial update so we'll see how it goes!

Darn it, I've got to 4.85Gb on my 5Gb ADSL limit this month (The first time I've ever got close!!!) I guess my Macs will have to wait until the weekend for this update!

Setup Assistant launched for me after restarting, it has not done this with a 10.4.x update before. Anyone else noticed that?

It was 133MB for my MacBook 2.0 also. I notice Safari is now 2.0.4 - apart form that I've not really been looking or noticed anything else so far.

Does it effect the Screen Spanning Doctor for a iBook G4?

#8, Matt,
It looks like the update removed the .AppleSetupDone file located at /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
I'm curious why this would happen, and have never seen this before with 10.4.x update.

..sigh.. So much for the "enhanced OpenGL with 10.4.6 or 10.4.7" rumors.

Silver,
According to tigerclaw in the World of Warcraft Mac Tech Support Forum:
"There is some new functionality in 10.4.7 for Intel (new GL extension that WoW 1.11 uses).
If you have an Intel Mac, and by chance you have received an "internal prefs" file from us on email, you should remove it from your home/library/preferences folder. This will free up the WoW client to use the new GL extension."
Plus, there are new ATI and nVidia drivers. So there are at least some improvements, though nothing sweeping it seems.

uummmmm, I already saw this update on the Macs during the Crabtree Valley Mall Apple Store opening. I tried to send a tip to TUAW but they ignored me as always. I was 6th in line w00t!!
I didn't have time to play around with the Macs though as I had been there already for 3-4 hours before the store opened....

Nice, that's what I was looking for. Let's hope we start to see some gaming performance parity between Windows and OS X Universal games.

can anyone give me a hardware reason for why the two-fingered scrolling powerbooks (and ibooks) haven't been graced with a two-fingered right click option?
i'm a little bitter about this - are the track pads on the 2005 PBs and MBPs actually different, or are we just being traditionalists over in cupertino?

The big change for me is now my MacBook Pro will now wake from sleep imediately. It used to be that it would take quite a while when I opened the screen.
