ExpressCard Update for MacBook Pros

Apple has released a software update for at least the 15-inch MacBook Pro, and possibly the 17-inch as well (I just have a 15-inch). ExpressCard Update 1.0 "resolves an issue that prevented the system from sleeping when some cards are inserted in the ExpressCard/34 slot." Have at it boys and girls.

Also, do not adjust your display - the funky color scheme you see in my screenshot is the work of ShapeShifter, Unsanity's GUI theming utility.

[UPDATE: At least one commenter has confirmed that this update appears for the 17-inch MacBook Pro as well.]

DO NOT RUN SHAPESHIFTER ON AN INTEL BASED MAC!!!!!!

It ruined my MacBook!!! The beta version will RUIN your startup files and you'll have to reset your PRAM and everything then re-install mac os x!!!! They sent out a statement saying it doesn't work!!!!

DO NOT USE IT!!!

They are trying to make a truely universal version but it's not working so far and ruinging computers.....INCLUDING MINE.

#9: Are you sure you installed the 2nd beta? Also, did you restart since installing it? I know that's a cheap solution, but IIRC, ShapeShifter actually requires a restart before it can be opened and tinkered with.

Is Shapeshifter a universal binary now? I've been leery of running it in Rosetta.
