Launch2net Mobile Connection Manager

I've used it as well and it "just works" compared to the modem scripts I was trying to get working. I will say, however, that with a little time you'll get an OS X modem script working with your mobile (in my case a Nokia E61 connect via Bluetooth). Thanks to Ross Barkman for the scripts!

I'd pay $25-50 for launch2net but $95+ is too steep.

I've been using this for six months or so, and it gets 384kbps+ out of my Nokia E61. Travelling around Europe it solved all my connectivity problems. It is worth the money, but is not free of bugs, so play nice with it.

This app rocks! A friend of mine went to work in Nigeria, and decided to make "the switch" 2 weeks before. I was to set him up to go online there, and from all I could research, Nigerian (cell-phone)/internet carriers sell PCMCIA modems only - nada express card. So it was going to be my friend's mobile phone (he happened to have a Bluetooth Sony Ericsson). But the good man was not a much of a geek to start with, and had about a week's worth of OSX experience.... enter Launch2Net, thanks to a helpful clerk at my local Apple retailer (I live in Berlin, same as NovaMedia, btw). We bought it, my mate went to Nigeria, where he was told at the phone/i-net carrier's shop that "this is not going to work with a Mac - what's a Mac, anyway?"... and half an hour later he was online. Ab-so-lutely foolproof, I have to say. And I have to agree with an earlier commenter: why wasn't this picked up earlier? It is SO worth the money!

I've been using this for about a year with great results with a pcmcia card on the cingluar network. that this product is just getting noticed really surprises me. I'm also a big fan of the isync plugin for my siemens phone.

It's a bit expensive but works like a charm. I was in Europe last summer and it worked perfectly in multiple countries over multiple phones (both bluetooth and USB connections). I was very impressed.
