It's kinda hard to describe this video without giggling. It is a woman's heartfelt love song to Apple. Yes, you read that right.
Her passionate affectionate love song to Apple.
With lots of, um, facial expressions. And her voiceovers about...dreaming.
It kind of comes across as part stalkerish (if it is indeed possible to stalk a computer), part fangirl, and extremely cringeworthy. While watching, I kept wondering if we'd see this woman be escorted out of the Apple store--maybe with security guards for good measure.
And, to be totally honest, I kept wondering when we'd see the video cross from PG into triple-X territory as she sang her devotion to the Mac.
Fortunately, it never did.
Thanks Sean

#1 you have an ibook, not a powerbook.
#2 apple doesn't make a 24 inch display.
but i liked the video otherwise :)

@ James Tylko
1) She held up a 12" G4 PowerBook. This goes along with her lyrics.
2) In the video she is looing at a 30" Cinema Display, but Apple does have a 24" display in their flagship iMac.
3) She is pretty damn hot for a geek.

Oh dear Lord, not her again. Crops up on youtube with nothing but cheese. She is (naturally) pretty, but a complete phony. Just really un-charismatic, unoriginal, and did I already say, completely full of cheese...
Blah.

That is FULARIOUS!!!! I love it.
The lyrics were actually pretty good. And she's a decent musician. I love her. She's better than all those people on American Idol. hahahahahaha that made my day.

Her name's Christine and she's got a site: http://www.happyslip.com/
She's actually Filipina (not Chinese, Lokheed) and I actually find her vlogs very entertaining. She uses her 12" PowerBook and iMovie to produce and edit.

After further review, I've come to the comclusion this is a deceptively subtle attempt to get her fans to chip in for a new Mac Pro and 30" Cinema Display. Just think of all the new videos she could make with a bigger, better, faster machine.
Her next video will be a song about the latest HD video camera.

I wasn't that impressed by this piece, but I thought her other stuff was quite amusing, although we've seen Americanized youth imitating their less assimilated parents before (e.g., Margaret Cho).
