Apple Store Bentall Centre opens Saturday
Apple plans to open a new retail store this Saturday, February 17th at 10:00 AM in Kingston upon Thames. The Apple Store is located on the first floor of The Bentall Centre. You can find complete travel directions here. As usual, the first 1000 visitors will be rewarded with commemorative t-shirts. Visitors can also enter to win what Apple is calling "Digital Lifestyle Collection," worth more than £1700.

The prizes are: one (1) Grand Prize includes one (1) Black 13-inch 2.0GHz MacBook, one (1) one-year membership to ProCare, one (1) 4GB silver iPod nano, one (1) iPod Hi-Fi, one (1) iWork, one (1) one-year membership to .Mac and one (1) AppleCare Protection Plan for MacBook. I really wana check out the store on opening day, might risk being a bit late for work so i can grab a shirt and check it out. I really whanted to work there but people i know from john lewis where i work that tried to apply were turned down, mainly i spos because john lewis is their main rival in kingston when it comes to apple hardware.

No one queuing, or even any outward sign of an Apple Store opening outside Bentalls on Friday night - just some students hanging around...
