Is version 1.3 ok for use on a regular MacBook because I can't get the update to download unless I check off that I'm using a MacBook Pro? It keeps spitting out 1.2 for the regular MacBook.

Hopefully this clears up the problem with Mac Pros where they don't seem to recognize more than 2 GB of memory in Windows.

Unless you use the server edition, and fully use the server edition... then you'll know fear every update.

Oh please oh please let this fix the 24" iMac black screen of death!
Running Windows on an external 17" CRT when I have a 24" LCD setting RIGHT THERE is painful painful painful.

The following text is part of the download message:
Boot Camp is just one of many new features in Mac OS X Leopard, the next major release of Mac OS X, due in October 2007.

Been a Mac user for 12 years... and I don't mind that there's updates, just wish they'd got it out a day or 2 earlier so I didn't have to pull down an additional ~270Mb file. :)

I also can't get it to let me download 1.3. It keeps giving me 1.2, and I'm using a Macbook Pro, just not one of the new ones.

Yes, I too have noticed that none of the fn shortcuts work on my MBP. It's because kbdmgr.exe is not running. You can tell because the Boot Camp Manager tray icon (the one that looked like a keyboard key with an "A" on it) doesn't show up after installing the 1.3 drivers. I've tried reinstalling the 1.3 drivers several times, and it won't show up. I even tried going straight to kbdmgr.exe (located under C:/Program Files/Boot Camp), but it still won't show up. If anyone can find a fix for this please post it here. In the meantime I will try to find a fix for the problem.

How long have your download times been? I have a pretty fast internet connection (Verizon FiOS; 15 Mbps) and it has a download time of 2 hours. (well it's said 1 hour, 18 minutes for the past hour, even though it's half way done.) Anybody else slow?

Will BootCamp ever allow the Windows partition to be on an external Firewire HD? I could really use that...

#11 and #13:
I'm having the same problem. My KbdMgr.exe actually does exist in c:\Program Files\Boot Camp, but it won't run when I double click it. I recently installed a trial of Parallels (v2, before the new release) and I was wondering if that might've messed with something.
