Hi all, Gwen here (my photo, my housemate's computer). Couple answers to your questions. 1) It's not a turd. 2) The hard drive and everything on it was recovered. I own a black macbook and called back into the house for it to be rescued. I'm happy to say it is with me and going strong.

And it still runs better than a windows machine... mmm, yummy.

This could be sold on E-bay for millions, without a doubt. Not only the price of the notebook would be taken care of, but also tens time more than that in your pocket. Certainly IF you would want to sell it on E-bay. WHO WOULD? anyone???

After seeing the other pictures and video I feel bad for the family. I'm glad they all are alive and lived to tell the story. It kinda sucks to come home and see all your stuff destroyed like that. here is wishing them good interaction with the insurance company and that they can find another home soon.
