This week's rig features one of the best-looking G4s you'll ever see. Enterprising reader :: Jonathan transplanted the guts from his destroyed G4 into an ATX case he had lying around. Sure, the power buttons didn't line up and the had to do some sawing to make the ports accessible, but the important thing is that he saved a Mac. Good job.ATX G4 posted by :: Jonathan.
If you'd like to see your own rig featured here, simply upload photos into our group Flickr pool. Each Sunday we'll comb through the most recent entries and declare a "Rig of the Week!"

I agree -- it looks like a PC came along and beat it with a fugly stick!

That's the ugliest rig ever - even for a "PC", that's still ugly.
Props for the innovation, but blech - it's like one of those 3rd world plastic surgeries gone horribly wrong.

My actual PC looks 10 times better than that. There's a million ATX cases that could've been used that would've at least made the transplanted G4 aesthetically pleasing. That looks like a bad logitech experiment from 1997.

This is probably the worst rig of the week yet... It's not even a rig, where's the monitor? or the desk?
I recommend skipping the week versus running this level of crap

I'm not one to usually post TUAW criticisms, but Dave Caolo must be on crack if he thinks this is the best looking PowerMac G4. For one thing, the PowerMac G4 line included the PowerMac G4 Cube (second only to the iMac G4, IMO).
Even if we're talking strictly tower configurations of the PowerMac G4, there's the original Quicksilvers to consider.
